Erik graduated as bachelor of economics in Haarlem before studying for producer at the Netherlands Film Academy in Amsterdam. Erik loves to work on projects that are unique in storytelling and cinematography; films he produced so far have been classified as experimental and groundbreaking but also reached a wide audience. Since 2016 he’s working as producer at the renowned production company Lemming Film. In 2018 Erik was listed by Screendaily as future leader producer.

Titles finished include; documentary STRANGER IN PARADISE from director Guido Hendrikx (the film opened IDFA ’16 and was nominated for a European Film Award – best documentary 2017), NOCTURNE from director Viktor van der Valk (IFFR bright future competition), MY GIRAFFE from director Barbara Bredero (box-office hit in NL, Berlinale 2018 – Generation K-plus), and BERLIN ALEXANDERPLATZ from director Burhan Qurbani (premiered on the Berlinale 2020). Currently Erik is in post-production for feature films; DO NOT HESITATE from director Shariff Korver, DEAD & BEAUTIFUL from director David Verbeek and several projects as co-producer.
