Leontine Petit is CEO, producer and founder of Lemming Film. Leontine has earned
an MA in Philosophy at the University of Amsterdam. Over the years she attended
several training courses which were part of the Creative Europe - MEDIA
programme.
She took part in Inside pictures and is a graduate and member of the EAVE and ACE
Network.

Leontine is a passionate advocate of helping independent films cross boundaries and
connect with international audiences. She is an active member of the international
production alliance ‘The Creatives’ and is the Benelux representative on the board of
the European Film Academy. In 2016 she received the European Co-Production
Award - Prix Eurimages during the European Film Awards.

In addition to her work for Lemming Film, Leontine has been an advisor for and board
member of numerous organizations in the Dutch cultural and audiovisual industry.
She also regularly teaches at various international media studies and programmes.

With Lemming Film Leontine holds offices in Amsterdam, Berlin and Ghent. Since
1995 she has successfully (co-)produced 73 feature films and 24 high-end drama
series in Europe, Asia and South America. These projects have been sold to many
countries around the world and have won various national and international awards.
