The second season of Rusty is a colorful, slightly nostalgic stop-motion animation series that is made with a lot of precision, dedication and craftsmanship. Protagonist Rusty is a stubborn Fox Terrier who discovers the world in a playful way. Every week, Rusty throws himself into the craziest adventures with his friends Tobias and Henriette. This results in recognizable situations for children aged 3 to 6.

Lemming Film has a tradition of making high-quality youth productions in which Rusty from Sieb Posthuma fits well. The recorded voices of Rusty and his friends are by Guy Clemens, Georgina Verbaan and Nasrdin Dchar.

Rusty 2 is also based on the Dutch children's book series by Sieb Posthuma (1960 - 2014), in which he modeled Rusty after his own Fox Terrier. It became a tough and sweet dog. The second season of the animated series is written by Fiona Heemstra and Fabie Hulsebos and directed by Steven de Beul and Ben Tesseur. New sets have been built especially for this season for the Winkel van Sinkel with owner Poedel Sinkel and Huis Oma. The series is a co-production of Lemming Film, AVROTROS and the Belgian Mockingbird Productions. Creative supervision is in the hands of Ton Meijer-Posthuma.

Rusty is expected to be shown on NPO Zapp at AVROTROS (* and in Belgium at Ketnet) at the end of 2021.
