the path nominated for deutscher filmpreis
We are tremendously excited to announce that Tobias Wiemann's 'The Path' has been nominated for the 2022 Deutscher Filmpreis for Best Children's Film! The film is among two films nominated for its category: it tells the story of two children and a dog fleeing from the Nazis in 1940, which leads them on an adventurous journey across the Pyrenees.
Congratulations to the cast and crew, as well as our producer Daniel Ehrenberg with this nomination! The winners of the Deutscher Filmpreis will be presented on the 24th of June, in Palais am Funkturm in Berlin.
The Path ('Der Pfad') is directed by Tobias Wiemann, written by Rüdiger Bertram and Jytte-Merle Böhrnsen, and stars Julius Weckauf, Nonna Cardoner, Volker Bruch and Bruna Cusí.
