The Wolf, the fox and the Leopard Premieres at Tribeca

The newest movie from David Verbeek, The Wolf, the Fox and the Leopard, will have it's world premiere at the 24th Tribeca Film Festival form the 4th until the 15th of June in New York. This will be Verbeeks 9th movie, after earlier works like R U There, How to Describe a Cloud and Full Contact. Gusto Entertainment expects to screen the movie at theaters as early as 2026.

The Wolf, the Fox and the Leopard tells the story of a young woman, raised by wolves, who ends up living in modern day society. It is a poetic, existential reflection on the relation between man and nature at the midst of climate change and ecological uncertainty.

The main cast will exist of Jessica Reynolds, known from Kneecap and Derry Girls and Nicholas Pinnock, Marie Jung, Lucas Lynggaard Tønnesen and the Japanese arthouse-director Naomi Kawase.

The movie combines elements of modern fairytales and the deep going thematics of being human in a world that doesn't revolve around humans at all.
